North Shore

Winter storms, from November to the end of February, are not uncommon at the tip of Brittany. When the wind blows against the current, the sea rises and rolls over the shallows. Sailors stay in port on these days. On land, it's a sight you'll never tire of! But make sure you stay out of the way and wait for a lull before heading out. The landscapes sculpted by the elements make this coast a veritable paradise for board sports enthusiasts in the summer months, and an exceptional area in which to organise downwind races.
